What We Do

Consulting is a very broad term. But HalW Consulting has no desire to be a “Jack of all trades, master of none.” That’s why we specialize in Business Intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM). Why? Because we’re really good at it. We’re passionate about the ways that BI and CPM, when properly executed, deliver tangible benefits to our clients.

Business Intelligence (BI) technologies provide historical, current and predictive views of business operations. BI encompasses reporting, analytics, data mining, and benchmarking, to provide businesses with a competitive market advantage and long-term stability. Classically, BI is spearheaded by an organization’s marketing arm.

Corporate Performance Management (CPM) is a function within BI that focuses on monitoring, managing, and analyzing an organization's performance according to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, Return on Investment (ROI), overhead, and operational costs. It includes financial and operational reporting, budgeting, and related planning activities. CPM activities are likely to be directed by the financial/accounting and/or operational units within an organization.
